Thee Difference:
Jan. 6th, 2013 06:44 pmThe difference between shopping at Trader Joe's and Berkeley Bowl:
At Trader Joes you get greeted by an overly friendly cashier who asks you how your day is going, and who thanks you after you spend $2.13 on 54 items.
At Berkeley Bowl you walk up to a surly cashier who gives you the "What're you lookin' at?" stare, and obviously blames you for their rotten day and hopelessly empty life by daring to get into their line. They say nothing after you pay $504,713.32 for three small items.
