Stuff from Facebook - Walking Dead, Star Wars, and our Galactic Neighborhood

So I'm one a' those Walking Dead fans who watches every new episode. I'm not as fanatical as some TWD fans, but even I was incensed when the official Walking Dead Facebook page put up a total spoiler that gave away the ending of the mid-season finale, just right after the East Coast episode was aired.

Apparently the organ banks that run the Walking Dead Facebook page are unaware that the Earth is round, and that there's these things called time zones. Millions of West Coast fans who hadn't seen the episode yet, including me, got a big spoiler. Even worse, UK fans don't see the new episode until the next day. (They did issue an apology the next day on that same Facebook page. Hopefully someone got fired over that!)

Some dingabts are telling us it's our fault for looking on social media before the episode, that it's our fault for not self-blacking out ourselves from thee internets hours before the episode showed. (I saw the spoiler before the West Coast verison aired.) Now, if some random doofus on Facebook spilled the beans, that's one thing, but the official FB page? Inexcusable!
