Duck Attack! In Cold and Rainy Berkeley...

So I do my long runs around a place called Aquatic Park in Berkeley. There are lots of animals around the lake, including gophers, squirrels, and lots of ducks.

The ducks don't usually pay me much mind, but when the weather is bad, some of them look at me hopefully and even walk up to me because they aren't getting as much food as usual. When it's sunny out, there are far more people out. In this kind of weather, hardly anyone is out.

So I decided I'd bring a bit of bread for them the next time I went on a run on a cold and rainy day, which I did when I went for a six mile run this morning. The moment they say the plastic bag in my hand they all came running up.
