Date: 2014-08-27 07:13 pm (UTC)2. PUMPKIN PIE AND OTHER THINGS MADE OF PUMPKINS LIKE PUMPKIN LATTE AND PUMPKIN CURRY. And cranberry. I may be excited about pumpkins. A little.
3. Halloween, definitely. Don't celebrate Christmas, don't give a fuck about Hanukkah, didn't celebrate Thanksgiving at all until last year when my friends and I threw a party and it was actually quite fun, but I find the holiday politically problematic.
But Halloween has costumes! And cheap fishnets and black nailpolish on sale. And I can dress for work how I'd normally dress if I didn't have a job. Unfortunately it falls at the busiest time of the school year so I never get to plan exciting costumes anymore.
Also pumpkins I really like pumpkins a lot.

Date: 2014-08-27 08:11 pm (UTC)Pumpkin pie is good. I'm also a big fan of eggnog, which never shows up until around this time. I suppose I could try making some.
I registered for the Tinkerbll marathon in May, and since it's a very costume heavy run, I was thinking of trying out a pirate costume once all the Halloween stores open up.

Date: 2014-08-27 08:29 pm (UTC)You would make a good pirate! I still don't know what my actual Halloween costume will be, or what my plans are. Last year I just hung out at home and handed out candy because I was too tired to do anything else, and was a bit sad about it.

Date: 2014-08-27 08:42 pm (UTC)I did go as Pippi Longstocking one year. I got mistaken for the Wendy's girl, but those who did get it thought it was hilarious and oddly arousing.

Date: 2014-08-28 04:26 am (UTC)1. Sugar and Cream. Get your mind out of the gutter! They're my two favorite ingredients!
2. My Ligita's Apple Cake, or maybe my chocolate molten cakes, or maybe my fudge brownie cake with homemade chocolate frosting.
3. Halloween, no doubt!

Mmmmmm... Chocolate molten cake...

Date: 2014-08-29 05:01 pm (UTC)Glad you're OK and weren't terribly impacted by the quake.
Yeah, the chocolate molten cakes are ridiculously good. Hard to make, but worth the effort. Takes like an hour and a half to make, and they're gone in 15 minutes. :(
