Last week of classes... Finals around the corner! The computer lab is full! Where the heck were all these people last week? Hoards of zombified students running on nothing more than pure adrenaline and caffeine... "What do you mean you're still in school? Didn't it end yet?" "No, our Summer quarter ends first week of september." Grind grind grind... Cal students just started. Who cares? I actually know what it's like to work for a living! They're getting kicked out of their classes by a clerical strike anyways. September 5th, day of my last final... Three weeks gap before start of Fall quarter... "Whattaya mean you're not in school? Didn't it start already?" "No, not until third week of September..." College is supposed to make you smarter, but you get so tired and burnt out that you can't remember your left from your right. Duh! Hey, watch where you're going! Students running into things... Doors, columns, other students... "Are you coming on to me?" Yes. No. I'm seeing someone! Get away from me! "Can I study with you guys? I'm really worried about this final?" Tell me about it. Yeah, whatever. Going to watch my MST3K tapes and eat lots of unhealthy food once my last final is over! Futon... TV... Junque food... movies... Oh how I miss them all! Chat room? Yeah, sure, if I ever get one of those welcome wide eyed bouts of insomnia. When was the last time I was in a chat room? How will I do on the final? Who knows? The teacher is becoming so unpopular he may be assassinated before he can give it. Study like hell, grind it out in the lab all day, and then try to make friends with the feral cat over by the Arts and Entertainment building. (Black and white with white paws. Looks really young.)

Did someone tell me I was going to miss all of this someday?
